OPUSx combines the traditional functionality of file and document tracking with the specific workflows of a mortgage collateral department of a servicing group. From a single web based interface users can easily view and track the movement of collateral files and documents from the loan Custodian.
Interfaces with the Loan Servicing System, allow users to view critical loan attributes along with Loan Exceptions identified by the Custodian. For more on the OPUSx Legacy Interface Module (OLIM), click here...
Loan Exception Tracking
As Loan Exceptions are identified by the Custodian, they can be imported into OPUSx on demand or on a nightly schedule using OLIM. Custodian provided Excel files can be uploaded directly into OPUSx. Translation tables also allow for the translation of various Custodian codes (for documents, exception type...) to the codes used by OPUSx.
Exceptions can be assigned directly or via assignment rules, allowing users to easily view their queue for outstanding or pending exceptions to work. As exceptions are worked, users can record user definable 'Action' codes and comments. As exceptions are resolved, root causes can also be recorded.
Mortgage Collateral Document Tracking
Collateral files and documents can be tracked from the on-site vault or off-site Custodian. Collateral document requests can be customized per Custodian. The generation of governmental PDF Request forms can also be performed at the time of requests.
All circulation activities of the Collateral files (and Collateral documents) are recorded to provide a complete chain of custody. Barcodes can also be utilized to expedite all transfer functions.
As documents return to the Custodian, customized transmittals can be generated that allows for PDFs or CSV files. Complete history of all transmittals with tracking numbers are maintained for future reference.
Loan Content
Loan Content (critical loan attributes obtained from the loan servicing system) is attached to all files, documents, and exceptions. This allows users to easily verify additional data that might be required for Exception Resolution and Collateral document tracking. Loan content attributes are all user definable.
Loans can also belong to Loan Pools. This allows for tracking the certification and attributes of the Mortgage Loan Pool. Reports can easily be generated to view the issues of a specific Loan Pool.
